Jordan Biviano will be chasing his third consecutive SSA Production Sedan 50-lap main event victory when he competes at Castrol Lismore Speedway June 8-9. Jordan will again be one of the contenders in the Lismore Automobile Club (LAC) ranks of the Speedway Sedans Australia Production Sedan division over the King’s Birthday long weekend of racing at the venue, which also will be highlighted with the running of the Australian Legends Cars Championship (sanctioned through the Legend Cars Australia national controlling body).

This fixture brings down another season under the successful promotion of Mick and Kim Sauer. “Our two days of racing, in what will be twilight fixtures during the traditional June long weekend, will be one of the biggest fixtures of the season schedule and we are delighted to include a fifty lap main event for the Production Sedans,” co-promoter Kim Sauer said.

Qualifying heats will be held on the Saturday race card with a mini feature to round out Production Sedan action before another round of heats will be decided in the countdown to the 50 lap feature on Sunday.

“This event will be really something to look forward to and will again bring together a top class field of contenders,” a spokesperson for the SSA Production Sedan division said.

Biviano, who is a three time New South Wales Champion, will race a VL Holden Commodore. Biviano first won the 50 lap feature in 2022 when it was then known as East Coast Nationals, before a name change to the 2023 Winter Nationals. This season’s edition continues a winter theme with the 2024 Chili Nationals branding.

The Production Sedan class of racing has been known in the past as a battle ground for speedway’s version of the Holden versus Ford rivalry and that will continue this coming weekend. Other contenders in the SSA Production Sedan ranks include Nathan Gordon (VF Holden Commodore), Matt Vicary (VS Holden Commodore), Stuart Fawcett (VE Holden Commodore) and Maddison Harkin (Ford Falcon).

Saturday racing from 3pm.
Sunday racing from 1pm.
