AMCA DRIVERS TO CHASE SNAP-ON TOOLS AWARD THIS EASTER
AMCA drivers will have an added incentive to be the overall top point scorer of the two-night Easter fixture (April 20 and 21) at Castrol Edge Lismore Speedway thanks to Snap-On Tools.
The AMCAs will contest a 50-lap Golden Jubilee feature race on the Easter Saturday night and will follow up the next evening with the running of a 25-lap main event. The 50 lapper celebrates the half century continuous seasons of racing at the Lismore Showground venue. Heat action also will be a part of the programme format in the chase for the Snap-On Tools award.
Northern Rivers Snap-On Tools franchise holder Mark Abrahams will provide a magnificent helmet trophy to the driver who finishes top of the points table following the two nights of AMCA racing.
In addition, a set of sockets and ratchets also will go with the winning trophy.
It's a great prize for the AMCA division to chase over the two nights and it was largely through his clients that Mark decided to a part of the event.
“There are a lot of customers who are associated with the speedway and I thought it would be a good idea to get involved,” Mark said.
“It's terrific to have Snap-On Tools provide this trophy for the AMCA drivers and I sincerely thank Mark for putting up this magnificent prize and associated products,” promoter David Lander said.
The Saturday night programme format for AMCA competitors will be two heats in addition to the 50-lap feature, while the Sunday's racing will also comprise two heats prior to a 25-lap main event.
Drivers can nominate for the Easter weekend spectacular through the AMCA Nationals northern NSW Facebook page – DENNIS NEWLYN.
