GOOD NEWS for fans attending the February 20 fixture at Castrol Edge Lismore Speedway with repair work now completed on the members grandstand.
The grandstand will be open and seating tickets can be booked by phoning 0414847199 during business hours.
The structure has been out of use for sometime and it's a welcome addition to have this popular spectator viewing area now in operation and available for fans for the rest of the season.
“It's great to have the work done and the grandstand ready for use once again. I know many of our followers like to watch the racing from that part of the circuit,” promoter David Lander said.
The February 20 fixture will feature the return of Super Sedans as one of the major attractions on the card.
The Super Sedans will be supported with racing for Wingless Sprintcars, AMCA Nationals, Production Sedans, Street Stocks and Junior Sedans.
Meanwhile, the second half of the season meeting schedule has been restructured due to washouts.
The Mr Modified Series Final, which was washed out in January, will now be held on Easter Saturday night (April 3) as part of a two night weekend- Sunday Night will be the running of the V8 Dirt Modified Easter Nationals.
The Junior Sedan Nationals has been moved from earlier in the season to now be run on March 20 – the night of the prestigious Australian Speedcar Grand Prix.
Monster Trucks and a massive fireworks display are confirmed for April 10 after the January 1 rain out.
The final meeting of the season (April 17) will be a massive night featuring the track championship point score finals for all of the regular programmed divisions at the Lismore circuit during the 2020-2021 season.
April 17 was originally listed on the season calendar as an available rain date.
