If you like to see cars being crunched, gigantic wheel stands, ramp jumps and something that makes the ground rumble, be trackside at Castrol Edge Lismore Speedway on Saturday night April 10.

That's when the fabulous Monster Trucks take to the historic Lismore Showground to do their thing.

It will be something special as the gigantic machines with the massive tyres turn it on for patrons – then there is the “roll over bike” to go through its repertoire for that unique ingredient of fun-filled fanfare.

That will also add to the spectacular show that culminates with a massive fireworks display – one could say, MONSTER fireworks display in keeping with the theme of the night.

“This will be a wonderful night of family entertainment,” promoter David Lander said.

“Each year I like to bring the Monster Trucks to Castrol Edge Lismore Speedway and I know talking with the Monster Truck people responsible for their part of the programme, it will be a wonderful spectacle.”

The Monster Trucks are courtesy of Queensland's Robbie Stephenson who takes his spectacular brand of entertainment to speedway tracks throughout the state. He will also produce the pyrotechnics as part of the presentation.

Meanwhile, don't forget this coming Easter weekend there will also be plenty of ground pounding action when the fabulous, wheel hiking V8 Dirt Modifieds headline the Saturday and Sunday night Easter double header.

The final of the Mr Modified Series will be held on Easter Saturday night (April 3) while the following evening the V8 Dirt Modified Easter Nationals will be run and won.
